This investment is directed at accelerating the adoption of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography technology and establishing a mass production system for cutting-edge memory products such as DDR5 and HBM4.
- Micron Technology is also intensely focused on developing and producing memory for the AI market, specifically strengthening mass production capabilities for advanced HBM products like HBM3e. These companies are competing to develop stacked memory technologies and new interface technologies to meet the high bandwidth and low latency requirements demanded by AI workloads.
