BASF, in partnership with Siemens Energy, has successfully commissioned Germany’s largest 54MW proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer at BASF’s Ludwigshafen plant. This facility is designed to produce up to 8,000 tons of green hydrogen annually, which is projected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 72,000 tons per year.
Technical Details
